King to Broadcast Personal Statement on Illness in Nationwide Programme

The Monarch has taped a intimate address regarding his battle with cancer, set to air as part of this year's fundraising drive, spearheaded by a leading cancer charity and a television broadcaster.

Buckingham Palace stated the King would talk about his "recovery journey" as a person living with the disease, in a recorded address on this Friday at 8pm UK time.
